Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre Behl has been diagnosed with cancer. Sonali shared the diagnosis in a tweet. According to the tweet, she is suffering from high-grade cancer which has metastasised, which means cancer has spread to the other parts of the body. 

"Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer that has metastasized, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for," Says Sonali in her tweet. 

The actress is currently in New York for her cancer treatment. 

Sonali is famous for her roles in films like Sarfarosh, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Major Saab, Kal Ho Na Ho. As the actor shared the news on social media platforms, wishes for her speedy recovery started pouring in from friends and fans.
